Welcome to our website

Our congregation is situated in Milngavie (pronounced 'Milguy'), a suburb to the north-west of Glasgow, and is one of the thirty-five Church of Scotland congregations in Dumbarton Presbytery. The congregation was established in 1841, and the present church was built in ‘Scottish Gothic’ style in 1906.

St Paul’s is the spiritual home of 1,200 people who come from various backgrounds and a wide age range. We are a lively, welcoming congregation for whom the faithful proclamation of God’s Word is vital for our daily lives and Christian growth. This inspires us in our practical Christian witness. One senior and one assistant minister and a great number of enthusiastic elders and members of the congregation carry out the ministry.

Our aim is to lead people to Jesus Christ, in whom they can find the solution for their problems, forgiveness for their sins, and receive peace and eternal life. With this good news, we aspire to reach everybody from nursery to old age, showing God's love.

We gladly invite all people interested, or seeking, to our services and events. Personal discussions can be arranged through the Church Office or the ministers. The sermons preached in the church can be listened to on the site. The online version of our church magazine, 'Life' informs you about other activities of the church.

So, please have a browse on the site, and if you want to get in touch, don’t hesitate.
