Lunch Club    Come and enjoy a tasty lunch in good company every Wednesday at 12.15.  We serve homemade soup a selection of filled rolls and delicious home baking all for the very modest cost of £2.50. Our minister says that the chicken soup is as good as his mother made, accolade indeed.  So why not come and try our different soups for yourself.

 

Trustees Annual Report – Year ended 31 December 2011 -  A meeting of the Trustees, comprising all members of the Kirk Session and the Congregational Board, to approve the annual report and accounts from St. Paul’s Parish Church for the year ended 31 December 2011 will be held on Wednesday 8 February 2012 at 7.30pm within the Jubilee Hall.  All elders and members of the Board are requested to be in attendance.

OMF Day Conference OMF are holding a day conference in Dingwall Free Church, High Street, Dingwall on 25th February 2012.  The conference starts at 10am till 1pm when the speakers will be from Singapore, Philippines and the UK Diaspora Ministries team.  For more information contact Angus Macrae on 01349 862183 or Phil Steed 0141 959 4180 – scotland@omf.org.uk.

 

Chanan Trust During the period of Lent over the past few years the Congregation of St. Paul's have collected tea, coffee etc. for Organisations who feed the people on the streets of Glasgow, also giving support. This year it is intended to continue this during the period of Lent beginning on Sunday 26th February, 2012 for five Sundays. Boxes will be placed at the back of the Church for anyone who wishes to make a contribution. This year it is intended to give the contribution to Chanan Trust who would appreciate donations of rice, pasta and pasta sauces. Please pray for this work on the streets of Glasgow and in Barlinnie prison.

 

The Traidcraft stall is available in the large hall after the morning service

 

Friendship House Is open every weekday between 10.00am and 4pm, serving tea, coffee, soup, home baking & other goodies. There is a 10 minute service held at 11.00am each day, conducted on a Thursday by one of our local ministers.  All visitors are most welcome.

 

The Girls’ Brigade Coffee Morning and Jumble Sale

St. Paul’s - Saturday 11th February

from 10.00am to 1.00pm.

Beside the great coffee and pancakes we will have stalls selling

home baking; books; bric-a-brac; nearly new; and children’s toys and games. 

(Sorry we cannot take clothes; electrical or large items). 

Donations for the event can be handed in on

Friday evening from 6.30pm to 8.00pm.
